OLIVE OIL ACTS AS A HUMECTANT
Did you know that olive oil acts as a humectant? It attracts external moisture, keeps the moisture close to the hair and skin, then it forms a nice, thin film that prevents loss of moisture. This would be a nice oil to use as a hot oil treatment; for a scalp massage or to seal your ends. Since this oil is kind of thick (heavy) it would be more compatible with thicker hair.~tj
