HOT OIL & HONEY TREATMENT

You'll need: small bowl honey (humectant -attracts and binds water to the hair ) your favorite oil (emollient -seals in that moisture & adds shine) an applicator brush (optional) Steps: Fill a boiler half-way full of water and bring to a boil Fill a bowl with 1 tbsp of oil and 1tsp of honey (or enough for your length and thickness) Place bowl on top of boiling water and stir consistently for about 5 minutes or until mixture is warm enough for you Remove the bowl from the boiler and apply to your hair (either as a pre-poo or a dc) Cover with a plastic cap and leave on for 30mins; Sit under a heat cap, steamer, or hooded dryer Rinse and proceed with your normal regimen

***ALTERNATE METHOD: place 1 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of honey in an applicator bottle. Place the bottle in a cup of warm water. Wait until the honey has melted; shake the bottle thoroughly and apply to freshly washed hair.
