WHAT'S BUILDING UP IN YOUR SPRAY BOTTLE?

Often times we don't think about what's "building up" in our spray bottles. We only think of product buildup as applying product on top of product. Well, when we add things to our spray bottle like glycerin, aloe vera, or conditioner and allow it to sit we're getting product buildup.

Make sure that you are cleaning your spray bottles at least once a week. You can either put your spray bottle in a pot of boiled water along with some vinegar and let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. Don't boil the bottle unless you'll be keeping an eye on it because it will melt. Or, you can mix cool distilled water and a few drops of tea tree oil in the bottle and shake it up very well; spray through the nozzle; rinse and allow to air dry.

So, the next time you have a hair fail -don't immediately jump to the conclusion that it was the product you just used.... it could've been what was built up in your spray bottle.
